Leman Blancpain’s moon phase
It was in 1983 that Blancpain announced a world first in this speciality: the smallest self-winding movement displaying the phases of the moon, the day, the month and the date. This set the stage for a vigorous and lasting revival of moon phase watches, and helped rekindle the interest in mechanical watches generally.
Ref. 2863-1130-53B
Complete calendar, moon phase, Leman, small seconds-hand, corrector under the lugs, black dial, self-winding
The look of Blancpain’s moon phase watches evokes a link with the 21st century, as does its unique 100-hour (4-day) power reserve. Its appealing case is particularly handsome and always recognisable, even at a distance, for its typically Blancpain simplicity of design. Blancpain turns out and delivers worldwide only around ten such pieces daily in its workshop in Le Brassus. There is none other like it on the market.
